My Mattress Is to Big to Be Washed. How Can I Remove Filth From It?

Question: Assalam’aleykum,

Someone dropped beer on my mattress. It is not possible physically to wash the mattress as it is very big and heavy. How can I make it pure?

Answer: Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

Pour some water over the area, and then scrub it. Repeat this process three times, and you can consider the area to be clean as long as no traces of the filth remain. Difficult to remove traces would be excused.
