I Am Hesitating About Entering Islam. What Should I Do?

Answered by Ustadha Raidah Shah Idil

Question: Assalam aleykum,

I am interested in entering Islam. I have learned the basics of prayer, but I do not pray regularly. What would be more sinful: for me to delay entering Islam because of my lack of motivation to pray regularly or to enter Islam and not perform some of the 5 daily prayers?

Answer: Assalamualaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

I pray this finds you well. May Allah reward you for reaching out to us.
