Question: Assalam aleykum

Would my income be halal if I worked as a receptionist in a swimming pool as things like music is played here and people uncover their nakedness etc.?

Also The owner has one member of staff who is not trained to give yoga classes, yet my boss asks her to do so and this is breaking the laws of the land and he will pay my income from the revenue he gets from his business.

Answer: assalamu alaykum

The job of a receptionist in the setting you describe is in itself permissible. However, it would not be permitted for you to look at the nakedness of people, and nor would it be permissible for you to directly assist your employer in doing something that is illegal.

If you are not able to avoid the aforementioned, or you are reasonably sure that avoiding them is likely not possible, you should try to find an alternative line of work that does not involve you being surrounded by the impermissible in a way that leads you to commit an impermissible act yourself.
