Question: Assalam alaykum

Can I work as an analyst despite that the fact that this job requires to analyse future events?

Answer: Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

Merely analysing future events is not interdicted, and it is certainly not to be equated with soothsaying. What is religiously problematic is making claims of knowing the unseen realm (ghayb) or denying what has been decreed (qada’), and not simply making predictions or the like on matters (e.g. the weather) based on apparent causes and effects in the cosmos.
