Leaving the inward sins of objection to Allah–and embracing contentment – Shaykh Faraz Rabbani

Shaykh Faraz Rabbani concludes the explanation of the Qur’anic verse on leaving all sin [Qur’an, 6.120]–outward & inward, manifest & hidden, clear & subtle.

The video explains a critical concept: leaving the grave inward sins of objecting to Allah, consciously or unconsciously, and embracing the great virtues of contentment, serenity, submission, and surrender.

This talk is part of the series on “Qualities of the Believers in the Qur’an,” taught by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani at SeekersHub Toronto (www.SeekersHub.org)–a project of SeekersGuidance (www.SeekersGuidance.org).

I think it will be helpful in future recording sessions to use a directional microphone, or directional microphone setting, with one that has multiple settings, insha’ Allah. During this video, there were sounds from other people in the room that were distracting, given the excellent stereo separation. A microphone with a cardioid, or other directional pattern, will reject sounds other than what the Sheikh is saying, and may Allah continue the success of Seekers Guidance, Ameen.
