In a Hadith narrated by Anas ibn Malik (May Allah bless him), Rasulullah (peace and blessings be upon him) said if Allah (Most High) wanted khair for His slave, Allah (Most High) will use him. The Sahaba asked Rasulullah (peace and blessings be upon him) how can Allah (Most High) use someone, to which Rasulullah (peace and blessings be upon him) responded that Allah (Most High) will make a person do something good before his or her death.  [Tirmidhi 2068, Ahmad 13155, Hakim 1188, Musnad Abu Ya’la 3769]

Rasulullah (peace and blessings be upon him) wanted nothing but khair for his ummah!

In this Hadith, Rasulullah (peace and blessings be upon him) is directing our attention to the good that each one of us is capable of doing, as even in the Hadith, Rasulullah (peace and blessings be upon him) mentions, in the singular, that He will make a person do something good, which emphasizes that there is at least one thing that all of us are particularly good at or have a particular strength in.  Similarly, each of the Sahaba carried a unique strength or quality.

May Allah (Most High) Guide us to His Nur, by His Nur and through His Nur.

Jummah Mubarak.
